Hanzawa Corporation, developer of toys and games, was founded in Japan in December 1981 by Mr. Tsuneo Hanzawa after his career with Mabuchi Motor, Gakken and then President of Entex Japan Limited. For the past twenty years, Hanzawa Corporation has established its own product range of electronic toys, games, learning aids and computer game software in the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, Russia, Middle East, Australia, South America, Hong Kong and Asia.
Hanzawa Corporation also provides a wide range of services for original equipment manufacturing (OEM) markets with items developed worldwide for Bandai, SegaToys, TakaraTomy, Fisher Price, Colleco, Mattel, Hasbro and Tiger.
In November 1982, Hanzawa Corporation expanded its business with the opening of Hanzawa (Hong Kong) Limited, doing business under the STARTRIGHT® trademark, and in 2009, created a new line of entertainment toys under the DoPlay® trademark. The STARTRIGHT® is a registered trademark in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, South America and Canada. The main areas of business for Hanzawa (Hong Kong) Limited are:

The company's headquarters for marketing and production are based in Hong Kong, with a complete workforce of sales and marketing, design and development, purchasing, shipping and production personnel. Quality control and research departments are located in China (Hanzawa China). In 1999, the company set up another Development Centre in Hanzhou, China jointly cooperating with the Hanzhou Institute of Applied Engineering.
The total staff of 76 (25 located in Hong Kong, 45 located in China, and 6 located in Japan), which are steadily increasing due to increased sales, is lead by the company Chairman, Mr. Kiyomi Mimasu.
The Board of Directors consists of four members, Mr. Kiyomi Mimasu, Mr. Masao Kawakami,
Mr. William, C.F.Li and
Ms. Fanny, S.F Lo. All are well experienced and accomplished in the toy industry.
Due to an increasing demand for STARTRIGHT® products in the United States and the United Kingdom markets, a Sales and Marketing organization for distribution within the United States and the United Kingdom has also been established.
The United States sales organization consists of over ten accomplished independent regional sales representative organizations.
